The image presents a news item about: "On the 17th of the current month the opening of the "national exhibition" took place. The act took place in the main body of the beautiful building of Santo Domingo and was presided over by the citizen president of the republic. We are very pleased to see that the general government is taking the most favorable initiative in the industrial advancement of the country." La imagen presenta una noticia acerca de:"El 17 de los corrientes tuvo lugar la apertura de la” exposición nacional”.El acto se sucedió en el cuerpo principal del hermoso edificio de Santo Domingo y fue presidio por el cuidadano presidente de la república.
