Resumen
In this edition of Voces y Regiones, the program highlights the importance of identifying and supporting deaf and mute individuals in the municipality of Inírida, Guainía, to provide them with training in sign language and communication tools adapted to their needs. These classes, which will take place at the Nuevo Horizonte Disability Unit, aim to strengthen the autonomy and social inclusion of this population, enabling them to interact more effectively with their surroundings.
Additionally, the course is open to hearing individuals interested in learning sign language, promoting inclusion and equitable communication. Teaching this system not only improves the quality of life for deaf individuals but also raises awareness in the community about the importance of breaking communication barriers and fostering a more accessible and just society for all.
