Resumen
Known as Web applications or Web systems are those that are created and installed not on a platform or operating system (Windows or Linux). But staying on a server on the internet or on an intranet (local network). Web systems have very powerful features that provide answers to particular cases. For Web applications you don't need to install them on every computer that users connect to a server that hosts the system. A Web service is a type of Web application stored in a computer, which can be used by calling the methods from an application (or another software component) on another computer, over a network. Web services communicate through the use of technologies such as XML and HTTP. Customer communication with Web services is accomplished through Simple access to objects (SOAP) Protocol, a protocol based on XML, allowing the passage of messages even if the client and the service are written in different languages. The computer where a Web service resides is known as server or remote computer. Therefore, the integration of different systems for a banking portal in conjunction with a website e-commerce makes ideal for a distributed system.
