Prototipo software de una aplicación web progresiva, integrada a una arquitectura orientada a microservicios, para su adopción como una estrategia de desarrollo de aplicaciones en la Universidad la Gran Colombia

Abstract

Organizations have a natural tendency to make innovations, one of the most important that can be done is innovation in their business model. But there are organizations that present natural problems to the innovation of the business model, is the case of universities that are generally very large structures, and with great inertia, because they have been operating for years with the same business model, a model that is usually not focused on profits, but on being sustainable, allowing investments, improvements, quality, and so on. Taking this into account, but also the approach that any university organization can rely on technology to achieve certain innovation in its business model, this paper presents a proposal for the development of custom software applications at the Universidad la Gran Colombia, integrating the architecture oriented to micro-services of a mobile application, already acquired by the same university and a progressive web application strategy that aims to focus on reducing development efforts and take advantage of the resources available to the system's unit of information of the university.
