Abstract

The Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi, IGAC. It is the responsible for producing, providing and disseminating information and knowledge in cartography, agrology, cadastre, geography and geospatial technologies, and regulate his management in support of the planning and development in the country. also in his tasks is perform the standardization of the minimum characteristics required by products, this through certified methodologies under the same institution. being the Insituto Geografico Agustin Codazzi the body responsible for the development of all these services that develop cartographic production throughout the national territory, having a high need to have a different geodesic network as the basis for the development of several of these products, this network if fed by geodesic points or vertices that are installed in the country.
