Abstract

Thanks to the speed and accuracy with which Drones allow to obtain geographic information, this technology is advancing at a medium level and many private companies, educational institutions, as public entities are opting to implement DRONES as a means of capturing information for the creation Cartography, dense point clouds, GIS (geographic information systems), MDT (Digital Terrain Models), MDE (Digital Elevation Models), Orthophotos, products that allow us to make linear, volumetric measurements, 3D modeling among others. In the national institute of roads (INVIAS) was made a manual which describes step by step the methodology for postprocessing images taken by a Drone and thus achieve as a result a series of cartographic and topographic products such as those mentioned above: dense clouds of putnos, MDE, MDT, Ortofotos among others
