Análisis de los conflictos socioambientales por el uso del agua en las veredas de Quente y Querenté del municipio de Chipaque – Cundinamarca (2005-2016)

Abstract

In the present research, we analyze the socioenvironmental conflict emerging in the Chipaque municipality, particularly the problems generated in the community around the access to water, by the entrance of mega development projects such as mining for construction and the agroindustry of the flora , Which are based on national development strategies. Through a focus group exercise and direct interviews with the community, the research attempts to explain the dynamics of these socio-environmental conflicts that have taken place in this rural area of ​​Cundinamarca. This document contributes to the understanding of the phenomenon of socio-environmental conflicts in the department, especially in giving visibility to a situation that does not exist for many people, including those who live in the Quente and Querenté trails, and see the present transformations around the present water resource . To this extent, the compression of the phenomenon can contribute to the search for solutions to the conflict that leave satisfied the farmer of the village, which pose different situations that over time affect their productive, environmental and social dynamics by the effects that Have these economic activities on water.
