Diseño de la Arquitectura de un Sistema de Contratos Inteligentes Basada en la Tecnología Blockchain Aplicada al Proceso de Registro de Estudiantes en el Sistema de Educación Colombiano

Abstract

Currently, colombians face a critical problem about fraud. This condition spreads through all kinds of processes: from a driver's license issue to the registration of citizens on the education system. There is a clear failure of the regulatory entities on this matter, due to lack of a secure and trustworthy mechanism for supporting forementioned processes. Thanks to the latest technology developments it is widely known there are tools which allow to certify the authenticity of any kind of transaction. One of them, known as Blockchain, is an innovative technology for managing transactional records. Each operation made under this technology is public, secure and immutable. Applying the Blockchain concept into an information system could aid considerably in the solving of the observed problematics, particularly regarding people registration in the colombian education system.
