Resumen
This qualitative research is focused on the design and implementation of a didactic sequence for the learning and strengthening of geography tourism through a teaching module, for second semester flight attendant students at the Instituto de Estudios Técnicos Aeronáuticos (IETA). For this purpose, a didactic strategy was designed and applied to strengthen labor performance competences, as well as the use of tourism geography vocabulary. In addition, their level of competence was determined. The research was conducted with 5 students between 17 and 22 years old and the instruments for the collection of information were given through a field journal generated by observation.
The achievement of the objectives set, and the relevance of the didactic strategy can be observed by the analysis of the data, which showed that the students learned easily about tourism geography, applied it correctly in the four activities proposed in the teaching module, and the participants played an active role in strengthening the competence and developing more confidence in their learning process
