| dc.description | Facing the conflicts of territorial organization of tourist sites, an alternative is to base the specialized development on categories of ecotourism and agrotourism. The specific case is the municipality of Melgar in the department of Tolima - Colombia, where there are several areas that can be strengthened thanks to the potential of natural resources, allowing a balance of environmental burdens and benefits. Through different expressions and with an emphasis on the GIS tool, the areas to be strengthened, with their corresponding actions, are presented to represent an alternative with a global vision, contributing to the sustainable development of localities that have been caught in conflict, for not seeking Alternative to common tourism. | en-US |
| dc.description | En muchos territorios de Colombia el crecimiento desordenado de actividades relacionada con el turismo obedece no solo al potencial de las zonas para ello, sino a la falta de opciones de desarrollo local. Una alternativa para mitigar tales problemáticas es potenciar el ecoturismo y el agroturismo. Como es el caso del municipio de Melgar (Tolima, Colombia), en el cual existen varias zonas con posibilidades de ser fortalecidas, gracias al potencial de recursos naturales y antrópicos que permitan lograr un equilibrio de cargas y de beneficios ambientales. Lo anterior se ha logrado modelar utilizando diferentes expresiones técnicas y un énfasis en la herramienta SIG; esto permitió diseñar acciones que representan una alternativa para el ordenamiento territorial, con visión global y con capacidad de aporte al desarrollo sostenible. | es-ES |
