Resumen
This thesis proposes the design of an innovative teaching unit for sex education in Colombia, approached from the perspective of the endocrine system and supported by the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The proposal arises in response to the challenges that sex education faces in the country, traditionally limited by cultural, social, and political barriers, despite legislative advances such as Law 1146 of 2007. By integrating scientific content on hormonal processes and topics such as puberty, the menstrual cycle, and the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, the aim is to empower students to make informed and responsible decisions. This interdisciplinary teaching unit, adapted to the Colombian context, promotes a comprehensive, scientific, and participatory approach to sex education that contributes to the well-being and healthy development of young people.
