Estrategias para el fortalecimiento sustentable del espacio público efectivo en las UPL Rincón de Suba y Britalia para el periodo 2024 – 2035

Abstract

The inadequate occupation, deficit, and deterioration of public space in the Local Planning Units (UPL) Rincon of Suba and Britalia in Bogotá have negatively impacted the quality of life of their inhabitants. With the aim of sustainably strengthening effective public space in these UPL for the period 2024-2035, a methodology was developed structured in four phases: (1) analysis of the characteristics and strategies present in the various planning instruments, (2) identification of previously implemented actions, (3) evaluation of issues, and (4) definition of challenges and strategies. As a result, three strategies were designed to improve the public space in the area of study, transforming it into a functional, safe, and sustainable environment, promoting its accessibility and consolidating inclusive and participatory public policies.
