La automatización de pruebas de Software ha sido uno de los términos mas populares entre la comunidad de TI, en especial en el sector empresarial. A pesar de tener varias ventajas, con el surgimiento de esta tendencia aparece el problema de la mantenibilidad de los scripts que ejecutan las pruebas. Frente a dicho problema (que es un problema del software en general), se identifica que el enfoque de Reglas de Negocio ha sido una solución que ha podido ser aplicada con éxito en otros proyectos de software para disminuir la carga de mantenimiento en el código. El presente artículo muestra una propuesta para contribuir a la solución del mencionado problema, realizando la integración entre un framework de automatización de pruebas y un motor de reglas de negocio.
Resumen
Software testing automation has been one of the most popular terms among the IT community, especially in the business sector. In spite of having several advantages, with the emergence of this tendency appears the problem of the maintainability of the scripts that run the tests. Faced with this problem (which is a software problem in general), it is identified that the Business Rules approach has been a solution that has been successfully applied in other software projects to reduce the maintenance load in the code. This article shows a proposal to contribute to the solution of the mentioned problem, realizing the integration between a test automation framework and a business rules engine.
