Resumen
This study measures PM-10 particulate matter pollutants in correlation with four meteorological variables. Such variables correspond to wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity and temperature. Data was gathered using an AQM60 ambient air monitoring station supported by the air monitoring network of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. To account for the months in which the study was conducted, the study compares the information given by the station within a year and refines information inconsistencies according to the results obtained in the most recent months. Data were taken on a three-month period from December 13, 2013 until March 12, 2014. Data were averaged on an hourly, daily and monthly basis. Finally, the average concentrations of PM-10 were correlated with each of the meteorological variables in order to observe the influence of each one on the dispersion of the pollutant.
