Este trabajo describe las memorias de una creación semiótica musical en el maxisingle: Mi Carta de amor, una producción musical de cuatro canciones para voz y piano. Los textos de las canciones son tomados de la lectura e interpretación de la biblia, la cual es una práctica generalizada que se da bajo la corriente del cristianismo protestante. A partir de los textos se elaboran símbolos musicales que representan conceptos pertenecientes al cristianismo los cuales se sustentan con textos bíblicos y son expuestos previamente, para así identificar cómo esta propuesta de creación provoca un diálogo entre dos sistemas, el cristianismo y la música. Para contextualizar al lector se ofrece una breve descripción de la semiótica musical, el cristianismo, la Biblia, Jesús el Cristo, historia de la música cristiana y también se ofrecen algunos referentes musicales en donde la música evidencia representar el texto que pertenece a la obra. Junto a el texto escrito se anexa un CD que contiene la producción musical del maxi single: Mi carta de amor, que sirve como un registro sonoro para dar evidencia de las memorias expuestas en el texto y del resultado musical que fue moldeado por los símbolos creados.
Resumen
This work describes the memories of a semiotic musical creation in the maxi single: Mi carta de amor,
which is a musical production of four songs for voice and piano. The texts of the songs are taken from the
reading and interpretation of the Bible, which is a widespread practice that occurs under the current of
protestant christianity. From the texts are produced musical symbols that represent the concepts
pertaining to christianity that are supported by biblical texts and that are exposed before, to identify how
this proposal of creation causes a dialogue between two systems, christianity and music.
To contextualize the reader, a brief description of the musical semiotics, christianity, the Bible, Jesus the
Christ, the history of christian music, as well as some musical references in which the musical evidences
represent the text that belongs to the work.
The body of work consists of two elements: the written text and a CD containing the musical production
of the maxi single: My love letter, which serves as a sound record that evidences the memories exposed
in the text and the musical result that was molded by the created symbols.
