Ítem Caracterización de la educación en modalidad virtual a nivel secundaria y media en Colombia: Reflexiones frente al diseño de posibles lineamientos estratégicos de calidadGaleano Duran, Gina Edelmira; Gamboa Mateus, Erika Briyid; Romero Patiño, CarolinaThis degree work is developed within the framework of the Specialization in Management of Institutional Educational Projects, within which the inquiry is raised regarding the development of education in virtual mode for secondary and middle school levels in Colombia during and after the SARS CoV - 2 pandemic, while a growing volume of institutional offer has been evidenced during the last two years aimed at children and young people, especially inquiring into the quality of this educational modality, the needs of its context and what is required for its operation in the country. For the purposes of characterizing the virtual education offered by the aforementioned institutions, a documentary review is first carried out, compared to the categories of Virtual Education, Secondary and Middle Education in Colombia, Self-Management of Learning, Educational Quality and Directive Management, Subsequently, the digital tracking of the educational institutions is carried out and information is collected on their academic offer, management of the different management areas and their most relevant elements, additionally said information is crossed with the official databases and this is contrasted with the framework legal and normative of education in Colombia, finally, semi-structured interviews are carried out with some actors belonging to virtual schools. The foregoing allows establishing the state of the question of educational institutions in virtual mode for children and young people of secondary and middle school in Colombia, with the purpose of generating a reflection about the need for the intervention of the Ministry of National Education, with a public policy that contains the minimum guidelines for their operation, enabling not only a legal framework but also a framework of educational quality for this modality.
