Ítem Diseño de una red óptica para transporte de datos desde Bogotá a QuibdóRamírez Ardila, Camilo; Zapata González, Luis Fernando; Gómez Paredes, Juan Carlos; Gómez Paredes, Juan Carlos [0000-0001-5000-8121]- The proposal defines the route of a point-to-point optical network for pure carrier transport with single-mode fiber optics between the cities of Bogotá and Quibdo, with the objective of reducing the technological gap in this region of the Colombian Pacific. Initially, the Google Maps web application is used to visualize the sections that make up the route of the optical cable. A single-mode optical fiber is implemented, which will be extended using the existing infrastructure. Once the fiber laying route and the choice of cables have been consolidated, the power and bandwidth budget will be calculated, which is planned for a distance of 580 km at a transfer rate of 10Gbps. The analysis and choice of the optical devices (amplifier, transmitter) used in this design, that provide us with the data to perform the budget calculations. Finally, using the data obtained, the simulation of the fiber link and the respective analysis of the BER obtained and its respective eye diagram, corroborating the theoretical approach.Ítem Diseño, implementación y despliegue de una plataforma de monitoreo de rectificadores de los nodos para una red de fibra ópticaPeña Herrera, Thomas Felipe; Gómez Paredes, Juan Carlos; Gómez Paredes, Juan Carlos [0000-0001-5000-8121]In the degree project, a monitoring platform is proposed and developed which optimizes processes using web applications such as Zabbix and Grafana to monitor in real time the alarms and the status of the rectifiers of the infrastructure of the nodes of the fiber optic network of the company. This helps prevent service interruptions through the implementation of alarms that allow early identification of abnormal behavior of network equipment and avoid unavailability of services. This project is based on knowledge of electronic engineering and project management.
