Desde la educación media y universitaria, la enseñanza del metabolismo de carbohidratos se realiza de manera memorística, lo cual dificulta el aprendizaje de diferentes conceptos al no ver un sentido real en el entorno cotidiano. El trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo realizar una unidad didáctica en biomoléculas y metabolismo, haciendo uso de la metodología de aula denominada "Actividades problémicas de Aula (ACPA)", a partir del tipo de investigación de estudio de casos, y mediante animaciones elaboradas mediante programa FLASH. Se concluyó que las ACPA son una importante herramienta en la enseñanza de las ciencias, ya que permiten al estudiante crear su propio conocimiento y el uso de TIC favorece la comprensión del metabolismo, fomentando la motivación afectiva en los estudiantes.Carbohydrates are the first chemical structures group the biocomposites, being essential for the functioning of the body, since it is this group of molecules of whom part the production of energy in human beings.
