A partir de encuestas, observación directa y revisión documental, se evidenció que ambos parques cumplen un papel esencial como escenarios recreativos, deportivos y sociales, aunque presentan diferencias significativas. Aguaviva, como obra reciente, ofrece espacios modernos, accesibles y con un enfoque ambiental que refuerza la sostenibilidad. En contraste, La Alquería refleja carencias en mantenimiento, seguridad y participación comunitaria, lo que limita su aprovechamiento. Asimismo, se identificaron retos ambientales relacionados con la acumulación de residuos y la percepción de desorden, que requieren estrategias de educación y gestión sostenibles. Finalmente, se resalta la necesidad de fortalecer la administración, ampliar la oferta cultural y garantizar procesos de inclusión social, con el fin de consolidar estos parques como referentes de integración urbana y bienestar colectivo.This study analyzes the functioning and current conditions of the structural parks La Alquería and Aguaviva, located in Bogotá, with the purpose of identifying strengths, limitations, and opportunities for improvement in their management, infrastructure, and community contribution. Based on surveys, direct observation, and documentary review, it was found that both parks play an essential role as recreational, sports, and social spaces, although they present significant differences. Aguaviva, as a recent development, offers modern, accessible areas with an environmental approach that reinforces sustainability. In contrast, La Alquería shows deficiencies in maintenance, security, and community participation, which limit its use. Environmental challenges were also identified, such as waste accumulation and the perception of disorder, requiring sustainable education and management strategies.
