De esa cantidad 3518 Kg son biodegradables. Estos residuos son tratados en una planta de compostaje con la que cuenta la universidad, en ella se generan 20 ton al mes de Compost maduro, sin embargo, este no es de calidad pues no existe control en los procesos, la metodología empelada no es la mejor y el estado del invernadero no es el adecuado. Por tales motivos el presente documento junta las actividades realizadas para diagnosticar el estado de la planta, encontrar las principales problemáticas y a partir de esto proponer y emplear unas acciones pertinentes para mitigar impactos y mejorar la calidad del proceso. Por último, se propusieron unas recomendaciones para el año 2017 con el fin que el mejoramiento de este proceso siga en ejecución y su trazabilidad tarde el menor tiempo posible.The National University in its different daily activities generates 22 tons of waste each week.
