En este contexto, se desarrolló el trabajo de grado en modalidad de pasantía, en el marco del programa “Manos a la paz” dentro del proyecto uso y conservación en bosques secos de las líneas estratégicas del Programa de las Naciones Unidas (PNUD); obteniéndose como resultados, el análisis de la vulnerabilidad al cambio climático, a partir de tres indicadores: Exposición, sensibilidad y capacidad adaptativa; mediante la construcción de una línea base que permitió identificar fortalezas y potencialidades importantes a nivel local y regional del área de estudio, principalmente por la riqueza natural presente en el bosque seco; además se realizó el análisis del componente social y ambiental, la interpretación de datos de temperatura y precipitación, registrados durante 30 años de la estación Pascual (Samaniego, Nariño) y el acompañamiento y apoyo a las medidas de adaptación y empoderamiento que adelantan el Programa de las Naciones Unidas (PNUD) y la Asociación de Paisajes Rurales.The study and analysis of the changes and the climatic variability; in the last years it has taken great importance, to avoid economic, physical and social implications on the populations and the territories, for being a phenomenon of global character.
