Tanto en su práctica como en su teoría ha aderezado todo lo concerniente a la historia de la humanidad. En el presente, la fotografía digital ocupa un lugar más prioritario y exponencial que su antecesora la fotografía análoga, debido a que se ha multiplicado su creación, función y aplicación. Por lo cual ahora hay que entender a la fotografía como un dispositivo de amplios espectro y radio, que contiene nuevas funciones y que estas cambian nuestros pensamientos, conductas y nuestra visión de personas, lugares, objetos, así como nuestra visión del mundo. Entenderla sería más posible a través de la incursión de teorías, metodologías e hipótesis diferentes, lo cual permitiría establecer una nueva postura epistémica, de magnitud principalmente, holística, que involucre posibles respuestas al entendimiento del fenómeno fotografía que ahora nos concierne.Since 1826 photography has been an object of great importance for society. In the present day, digital photography holds a higher priority and is more common place than its predecessor, analog photography, because its applications, functions and power have grown exponentially. Now we have to understand photography as a device with a broad spectrum and radio of action, which contains new functions that in turn change our thoughts, behaviors and our vision of people, places, objects.
