Las redes de nivelación en el país están referidas desde un datum vertical ubicado en buenaventura, donde a partir de allí se realiza el traslado de cotas a todas las partes del país por medio de la nivelación geodésica, por tanto, durante el transcurso del trabajo de grado se recuperó información de los años 80s 90s de líneas de nivelación antiguas, importantes para realizar el ajuste de los circuitos de nivelación que actualmente se están midiendo en Colombia; Adicional a esto se creó una Geodatabase única para nivelación en el instituto con el objetivo de organizar toda la información que se encontraba en varias dependencias, esto con el fin de apoyar y ayudar el proyecto del IHRS donde se necesita que todo el marco geodésico nacional tenga información de nivelación, gravimetría y cálculo de números geopotenciales, este proyecto facilita el manejo de la información geográfica acerca de las redes de nivelación de primer orden en el país.The geodesy in the country is in a process of growth, where the Geographical Institute Agustin Codazzi is the main responsible for carrying out an adequate geodetic work in the country, for this it is necessary to organize in the information obtained, during the development of This project supported the process of leveling that is in charge of the Geodesy GIT of the institute.
