El Faro Focus es un escaner láser 3D de alta velocidad que utiliza tecnología láser para crear imágenes tridimensionales. No existen estudios detallados acerca de la incertidumbre en los datos generados por este instrumento, por lo cual se hizo necesario establecer un estudio en el que se materializaron y georeferenciaron puntos con alta precisión en un terreno en el que predomina la vegetación y otro sobre material rígido, determinando distancias entre estos para someterlos a comparaciones, estableciendo así las posibles discrepancias con los procesos topográficos convencionales. Se realizaron tres escaneos con tres de las ocho resoluciones, posterior a análisis estadísticos descriptivos se determinó cual es la resolución optima tratándose de aspectos como la precisión, exactitud y economía temporal que podría ofrecer en las tres muestras recolectadas.The techniques of remote sensing and perception allow us to collect detailed information in inaccessible places, it reduces work time and possible risks to humans. There are no detailed studies about the uncertainty in the data generated by this tool, so it became necessary to establish a study that materialized and geo-referenced points with high accuracy in a field in which predominates the vegetation and another on rigid material determining distances between these for submission to comparisons, establishing any discrepancies with conventional topographic processes.
