Por medio de las artes plásticas se pretende generar una comprensión básica de la anatomía y morfología de las aves, puesto que a través de la ilustración la comprensión se adentra en un plano en el cual las palabras no logran comunicar óptimamente como lo hace la imagen. Al dimensionar la complejidad de las estructuras de la avifauna y al aprender a observar e identificar las aves de la ciudad y en especial las que habitan el JBB-JCM, el asistente al taller podrá generar un sentido de pertenencia y empatía con respecto a la fauna bogotana y por ende a los hábitats que estos ocupan. Es así que los asistentes al taller de ilustración aplicado en el presente trabajo de grado mantuvieron un contacto cercano con la avifauna presente en la ciudad, aprendiendo sobre su historia evolutiva, hábitos, amenazas y reflexionando sobre su conservación y la de los ecosistemas de la ciudad.Art has unique faculties in terms of communication and assimilation of new concepts. By dimensioning the complexity of the birdlife structures and by learning to observe and identify the birds of the city and especially those that inhabit the JBB-JCM, the workshop attendee will be able to generate a sense of belonging and empathy with respect to the Bogotá's fauna and therefore to the habitats they occupy.
