En este lugar toman protagonismo varios sucesos y sujetos inmersos en el desarrollo personal y colectivo que supone esta etapa de la juventud, además de estar atravesados por ciertos imaginarios sobre la periferia, la marginalidad y otras tensiones que se generan por la cercanía con la gran urbe Bogotana. A partir de la revisión y selección de material de archivo, empiezo a cuestionar la práctica fotográfica, el testimonio como pieza clave en torno a los modos de representación y mi lugar de enunciación como sujeto inmerso en estas relaciones con el otro. Considero importante repensar la manera en que entiendo mi lugar de procedencia y cómo esto ha determinado mi formación como artista plástico y visual. Dando como resultado la materialización de una propuesta instalativa que ponga en tensión el lugar de la mirada del espectador y las relaciones de poder que se generan a partir del encuentro con el otro, desplegando gran parte del archivo audiovisual que posibilita otras formas de acercarse a una mirada crítica.NEAS: Postures and gestures in the horizon of the province is a project that starts from the analysis of a photographic archive, which I have been developing since 2019, raised by the encounter with many other young people of Fusagasugá in a specific space such as the skatepark of the municipality. In this place, several events and subjects immersed in the personal and collective development that this stage of youth implies, besides being crossed by certain imaginaries about the periphery, marginality and other tensions that are generated by the proximity to the big city of Bogota, take center stage. From the review and selection of archival material, I begin to question the photographic practice, the testimony as a key piece around the modes of representation and my place of enunciation as a subject immersed in these relationships with the other. I consider it important to rethink the way I understand my place of origin and how this has determined my formation as a visual and plastic artist.
