Sin embargo, tradicionalmente se le ha prestado mayor atención a los casos en los que las mujeres son víctimas, ya que estas son consideradas como una población vulnerable por encima de los hombres. Este trabajo permite visibilizar que la violencia contra los hombres también es un hecho y que se puede dar incluso en un contexto familiar en el que las propias mujeres también pueden ser las perpetuadoras. Esta problemática se afronta a una serie de estereotipos y perceptos que la sociedad patriarcal ha construido alrededor de la figura del hombre, debido a esto, son muchos casos los que no se denuncia ya sea por falta de apoyo jurídicos, falta de recursos, falta de credibilidad e incluso el miedo a quedar en ridículo al mostrarse como vulnerables.Family violence has become one of the most problematic issues in society. This work makes it possible to visualize that violence against men is also a fact and that it can occur even in a family context in which women themselves can also be perpetuators.
