Velandi Neira, Edgar AugustoVillamizar Báez, Martha Catalina2024-08-162024-08-162015-11http://hdl.handle.net/11349/39820El presente estudio busca aplicar los pasos de la norma 45 de la Guía Técnica Colombiana -GTC 45- (Instituto Colombiano de Normas Técnicas y Certificación ICONTEC, 2010) en el proceso de identificación de peligros y riesgos ocupacionales que se encuentren presentes específicamente en el laboratorio de función pulmonar de la Institución Prestadora de Servicios de Salud Suárez Exámenes Empresariales Ocupacionales y Servicios Médicos Ltda., quien en adelante simplemente será referida como Suarez o IPS Suarez. La prueba de espirometría que allí se realiza, por su técnica implica que los pacientes expulsen forzadamente todo el aire posible, generando de esta forma aerosoles, que pueden ser portadores de microorganismos nocivos para el profesional que aplica la prueba y para las personas que acuden a realizarse el examen. En la consulta médica ocupacional, la espirometría orienta al clínico sobre la existencia de obstrucciones bronquiales leves, moderadas o severas y sobre estados sugerentes de restricciones pulmonares leves, moderadas o severas. Si es el caso de trabajadores con diagnostico asmático u otra entidad, aclara el estado de la mecánica respiratoria. También es útil en el momento de calificar la aptitud laboral y sus riesgos sobre otros sistemas como el cardiovascular. Este estudio significa un aporte al reto de prevenir enfermedades y accidentes de trabajo citando el gran apoyo que encuentra el Sistema General de Seguridad Social en las instituciones particulares de primer nivel de atención. Se realizarán estudios con muestras tomadas de la turbina del espirómetro al finalizar el turno de atención en salud ocupacional para realizar cultivos y de esta forma verificar si el proceso de desinfección del equipo que se utiliza actualmente para realizar la prueba de espirometría es efectivo.The present study seeks to apply the steps of standard 45 of the Colombian Technical Guide -GTC 45- (Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification ICONTEC, 2010) in the process of identification of occupational hazards and risks that are present specifically in the laboratory of pulmonary function of the Institution Health Services Provider Suárez Exámenes Empresariales Ocupacionales y Servicios Médicos Ltda., who from now on will simply be referred to as Suarez or IPS Suarez. In the occupational medical consultation, spirometry guides the clinician about the existence of mild, moderate or severe bronchial obstructions and on suggestive states of mild, moderate or severe pulmonary restriction. If it is the case of workers with asthmatic diagnosis or another entity, clarifies the state of respiratory mechanics. It is also useful at the time of qualifying work aptitude and its risks on other systems such as cardiovascular. This study means a contribution to the challenge of preventing diseases and accidents at work, citing the great support that the General Social Security System finds in private institutions of the first level of care.
