Para el desarrollo de esta pasantía se llevaron a cabo tres actividades principales: 1) Análisis e identificación de la información existente en el servidor así como en el BIR del Pacífico Colombiano. 2) Incorporación de imágenes antiguas del Instituto Geográfico “Agustín Codazzi” al Banco de Información Ráster. 3) Implementación del BIR al Sistema de Información Geográfico de DIMAR – SIGDIMAR. Esta implementación a SIGDIMAR se generó con ayuda de estructuras Ráster como es el caso de los Mosaic Dataset y los Ráster Catalog.This internship was based on the continuation of the task of implementing a Coastal Marine Raster Information Bank of Colombia, specifically the Caribbean Coast, in order to articulate and strengthen the Geographic Information System of DIMAR, implementing Raster information such as satellite images, Digital metric photocopies and LIDAR data, to provide organized information that allows to exercise control and administration of the Colombian coast.
