Desde tres lugares: el trabajo, el deber ser y la movilidad social, encuentro que cada uno de estos estadios obedece a un entramado estructural más amplio, que relaciono con el desarrollo como discurso, la modernidad norteamericana, el capitalismo, la religión cristiana y el sistema de libre mercado. Entramado en el que aparece, además, para mí, un estado de malestar constante, un espacio de tensión entre ser o rehusarme a ser periférico. Finalmente me pregunto por mi posición como sujeto periférico, pero también cómo sujeto formado en artes plásticas y visuales, lugar donde aparece la posibilidad de descifrar y dar respuesta al malestar desde una práctica crítica como potencia creativa.The expulsion towards the abyss of the periphery is a creative project that starts from the tracing of the center-periphery scheme and the review of my experience as an inhabitant of Soacha Compartir. From three places: work, duty to be and social mobility, I find that each of these stages obeys a broader structural framework, which I relate to development as a discourse, North American modernity, capitalism, Christian religion and neoliberalism. A framework in which appears, for me, a state of constant uneasiness, a space of tension between being or refusing to be peripheral.
