La comida, el trago, la danza y la música han gestado una forma específica de relación con el mundo y han sido el soporte cultural de los campesinos y campesinas que habitan la vereda. Los portadores y portadoras del saber de la danza conservan memorias relacionadas con esta expresión que inició en las chicherías y que fue evolucionando, al mismo tiempo, con el vestuario y los géneros musicales que se introdujeron a través de la radio. La inmersión en el territorio, que se gestó a partir del diálogo de saberes campesinos, permitió encontrar en Virginia Martínez Solórzano, la mujer más longeva de la vereda, una construcción de vida en torno al trabajo, a la danza y el encuentro festivo. El acercamiento en calidad de bisnieto y futuro licenciado permitió consolidar sus memorias, y la de otros habitantes, con el ánimo de construir una visión del territorio campesino de Los Soches a partir de la tradición festiva.Since the arrival of the first settlers to the village Los Soches (Usme) has consolidated a tradition around the festive meeting.
