El acero escogido es SAE 1045 en su estado comercial, esta imagen metalográfica es sometida a diferentes umbrales para determinar sus propiedades y posteriormente a esto se realiza el estudio estadístico. Por otro lado, la aplicación de SVM se usó para tres imágenes metalográficas, al igual que en el apartado anterior se utilizó el acero SAE 1045 para describir su comportamiento. Los valores obtenidos al aplicar SVM busca tener un acercamiento de esta herramienta para posteriores investigaciones.The following document will present the results obtained after apply the SVM tool in Matlab and be able to quantify the amount of pearlite and ferrite in a metallographic image through the reading of images by means of the software. The chosen steel is SAE 1045 in its commercial state, this image metallographic is subjected to different thresholds to determine its properties and after this the statistical study is carried out. On the other hand, the SVM application was used for three metallographic images, as well as that in the previous section SAE 1045 steel was used to describe its behaviour.
