La energía solar obtenida de este seguidor puede usarse posteriormente para encender un sistema de generación de agua, especialmente cuando este prototipo este implementado en ubicaciones remotas, dando una mayor eficiencia energética y autonomía al prototipo, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones mecánicas y las condiciones ambientales que influyen en el panel solar y por tanto en el almacenamiento de energía.In this paper discusses the design and implementation of a single-axis horizontal solar tracker, determined from a linear motion mechanism and controlled by a system that tracks the exact position of the Sun when using simple information such as latitude, longitude and time.
