El documento va dirigido a estudiantes, profesionales y personas interesadas en conocer los criterios mínimos en construcción, fabricación y montaje de estructura metálica, específicamente edificaciones de mediana altura de 3 a 5 pisos, a nivel nacional y local con disipación de energía moderada (DMO). A lo largo del documento, se presentarán los temas a tratar, entre los cuales se encuentran: Identificación de materiales, procedimientos de fabricación y montaje, acabados, informes, formatos y actas de interventoría, etc., para el desarrollo de cada uno de los temas, se llevará a cabo una investigación bibliográfica, de documentos, textos, investigación en campo y publicaciones en este ámbito y se seguirán los lineamientos establecidos en las normas, específicamente la NSR 10 Títulos F e I, la norma técnica colombiana NTC 5832 y las guías técnicas del Instituto Colombiano de la Construcción con Acero ICCA. De manera paralela se busca obtener un manual de interventoría, el cual servirá de apoyo para instituciones educativas y profesionales interesados en la supervisión y construcción de estructuras metálicas.The research is carried out in order to identify the inspection criteria, manufacturing and assembly processes, applicable tests and technical concepts in general for the work of inspection in the construction of steel structure buildings.
