El trabajo cuatro capítulos y un aparte de conclusiones. En el primer capitulo se exponen los objetivos que orientaron la investigación así como el horizonte metodológico y teórico del mismo. En el segundo capitulo se reflejan los resultados de los talleres aplicados a los estudiantes con los cuales se busca develar las representaciones sociales construidas sobre democracia alrededor de unas categorías estructurantes como lo son conflicto, participación, libertad, normas, derechos y deberes. En el segundo capitulo se aborda como categoría central el conflicto y cómo este articula las relaciones democráticas de la escuela. El tercer capitulo finalmente recoge las nociones de los estudiantes en relación a los valores que conforman un sistema o forma de vida democrática.This work presents the formulation, process and results of the research carried out with high school students Gustavo Rojas Pinilla with whom they inquired about their social representations built around the concept of democracy.
