Es por ello que para la presente investigación se inició por la recopilación y organización de las bases de datos que contienen la información de las variables a estudiar (nacimientos, muertes, peajes, capturas, tráfico aéreo desde y hacia Colombia), las cuales quedaron estructuradas para el periodo de tiempo 2010 a 2019 y organizadas de manera mensual; luego de esto se procedió a realizar la prueba de Granger para cada una de las variables. Finalmente fue posible por medio de la aplicación del método seleccionado determinar el estado de cada variable frente a las demás, obteniendo las relaciones causales que aportan al lector un fácil entendimiento de como en términos de Granger un proceso puede o no causar a otro en el tiempo sin que a simple vista estos dos tengan un hilo directo.There are different variables that affect the processes that at first we think are given by themselves, the Granger causality technique is a procedure that determines the existence of a bidirectional, unidirectional causal relationship or the absence of causality, based on analysis time series statistic.
