La elección de esta industria y producto se fundamenta en la necesidad de satisfacer un mercado que debe orientarse hacia la sostenibilidad y contribuir al cuidado del medio ambiente. Inicialmente, se plantea el problema a abordar, definiendo objetivos claros y medibles que sirvieron como pilar y guía para el desarrollo del proyecto. Se definieron algunos modelos de muebles y, mediante un estudio de mercado con potenciales clientes, se identificaron sus expectativas, necesidades, preferencias y hábitos de compra. Una vez seleccionados los cuatro muebles que cumplen con los requisitos y necesidades identificados en el estudio de mercado, se realizó un estudio técnico y administrativo. Este estudio permitió visualizar los riesgos operativos y plantear estrategias de mitigación, optimizar recursos humanos y técnicos, y asegurar el cumplimiento de las regulaciones y normativas nacionales. Por último, se llevó a cabo un estudio financiero para identificar la inversión inicial, los costos, gastos, ventas proyectadas y el punto de retorno, determinando así la viabilidad final del proyecto.This document offers the structuring of a business model for a multifunctional furniture company made of Wood Plastic Composites (WPC) in Bogotá D.C. We choose this industry based on the need to satisfy a market geared towards sustainability, contribute to caring for the environment. First, the problem was raised, defining clear and measurable goals, defining clear and measurable goals, which served as a guide for developing the project. Some furniture models were identified and through a market study with potential customers, we define their expectations, needs, preferences and buying habits. Once the four pieces of furniture have been selected with the requirements and needs identified in the market study, a technical and administrative study was carried out. This study allowed us to identify operational risks and propose mitigation strategies, optimize human and technical resources, and ensure the national regulations and standards compliance.
