Basado en la perspectiva de matematización horizontal y vertical (Freudenthal, Treffers), se desarrolló un proceso metodológico que combinó análisis de video (Tracker) y simulación (GeoGebra con cálculo) para caracterizar las actividades matemáticas implicadas. Se concluye que este enfoque complejiza el conocimiento del profesor, capacitándolo para aplicar las matemáticas en la toma de decisiones y la mejora de situaciones reales, promoviendo una enseñanza funcional y significativa.This monograph addresses the use of mathematical modeling in pre-service teacher education, with the hammer throw serving as the central case study. Based on the perspective of horizontal and vertical mathematization (Freudenthal, Treffers), a methodological process was developed that combined video analysis (Tracker) and simulation (GeoGebra with calculus) to characterize the mathematical activities involved.
