En este trabajo, reconozco relaciones entre prácticas artísticas y prácticas de violencia, especialmente de género. Así mismo, estudio cualidades agenciales en tres procesos de creación artística, cultural y de sí, en México y Colombia, que enfrentan violencias desde lo sensible. El proyecto plantea un desplazamiento de las nociones de obra de arte y artista, hacia las de obrar y agente. Obrar, vincular y enternecer son conceptos vivos que cargan en su interior las propuestas del obrar sensible, el cuerpo vinculante y la ternura descolonial. Estos conceptos reivindican la potencia creadora de los cuerpos humanos y de otros agentes. A la vez, dan nombre a los tres cuadernos que componen esta investigación.In Tense Calm: Notebooks and Bodies to Act, Bind and Soften is an Artistic Studies research and agency-based creation project. In this work, I recognise relationships between artistic practices and practices of violence, especially gender violence. Furthermore, I study agency qualities in three processes of artistic, cultural and self-creation in Mexico and Colombia that confront violence with the sensible. The project suggests a displacement of the notions of artwork and artist, towards those of acting and agent. Acting, binding and softening are living concepts that carry within them the proposals of sensible acting, binding body and decolonial tenderness. These concepts vindicate the creative power of human bodies and other agents.
