Los análisis se toman de acuerdo a las pruebas de tensión, dureza, impacto, metalografía, microscopia electrónica por barrido, análisis de falla y los cálculos del índice de endurecimiento para cada uno de los especímenes seleccionados. Finalmente, las conclusiones establecen la manera en la cual se presentan los cambios en la microestructura interna de los materiales y su influencia sobre las propiedades de dureza y resistencia a la tensión del acero analizado.In the following paper, the influence of the time of quenching is studied at different temperatures and different support times on the steel SAE 1045 beginning with the tempering method to inter-critical temperatures and the later cooling in water. The analyses take in accordance with the tests of tension, hardness, impact, metallography, electronic microscopy sweep, analysis of flaw and the calculations of the index of hardening for each of the chosen specimens.
