Es por eso que los gobiernos han tomado medidas que permitan suplir las necesidades básicas que no están satisfechas, entre ellas los servicios básicos como el acceso al agua y su correcta disposición luego de haber sido servida, con el fin de evitar futuros daños a la salud y el ambiente. Por tal razón es crucial que los sistemas que drenan las aguas residuales estén acordes a la demanda de la comunidad. Se desarrolló este proyecto en el municipio de San Francisco de Sales (Cundinamarca), donde se realizó una valoración al sistema de alcantarillado existente, para así determinar el estado del mismo y diagnosticar posibles mejoras. Para ello se efectuó una inspección meticulosa a la infraestructura del sistema de alcantarillado, se aplicó una encuesta a la comunidad para conocer la percepción del servicio que se presta, y se comprará la información recopilada con los reglamentos vigentes sobre redes de alcantarillado.In recent decades, it has been important to alleviate poverty and promote a healthy environment.
