Este estudio se llevó a cabo como una etnografía virtual en tres comunidades universitarias virtuales. Los resultados evidenciaron prácticas incluyentes y excluyentes, así como estereotipos, creencias y valores sobre el hombre homosexual que resultan en concepciones homofóbicas y de aceptación arraigadas en definiciones de género heteronormativas, las cuales indican la necesidad por parte de instituciones de crear actores sociales y políticas para una sociedad mas tolerante hacia la diversidad.The current research study constitutes an approach to social representations from university students about the homosexual man. The research was carried out as a virtual ethnography in three online college communities, through 12 online memes and with 10 student participants who answered a semi-structured interview.
