Siendo una zona de invasión abandonada por el Estado lo único que representa la comuna cuatro de Soacha ante los demás es inseguridad, pobreza y desamparo, prejuicios que afectan directamente a la comunidad pues al ser algo tan repetitivo se genera un imaginario colectivo que no les permite percibir la comuna de manera distinta, creando un sentimiento de desarraigo. Durante la consolidación de estos barrios, las personas que llegaban tuvieron que buscar distintas maneras de vivir dignamente auto gestionando colectivamente el lugar que se vieron obligados a habitar, es así que las casas, los colegios, el sistema de alcantarillado y de abastecimiento de agua, el servicio de luz, los lugares de esparcimiento, las calles y caminos, fueron lugares construidos por la comunidad originando distintas dinámicas sociales que le dan una identidad y un peso histórico que va más allá de los prejuicios exagerados. Esta investigación recopila las historias de la autoconstrucción de Altos de Cazucá por parte de sus habitantes a través de los años, como es percibida la comunidad y las relaciones que se gestaron viviendo en condiciones tan precarias pero que nunca les impidieron hacer que sus casas germinaran, que sus barrios enraizaran y que Altos de Cazucá floreciera.The community of Altos de Cazucá for years has been behind a veil of prejudice. The media has called it a nest of problems, settlement or a wrongly called slum. Being an invasion zone abandoned by the State the only thing that commune four of Soacha represents for the rest is insecurity, poverty and helplessness, prejudices that directly affect the community because being something so repetitive creates a collective imagination that does not allow them to perceive the commune in a different way, generating a feeling of uprooting. During the consolidation of this cluster of neighborhoods, the people who arrived had to look for different ways to live with dignity, self-construction and coping with the place they were forced to live, the houses, the schools, the sewage and water supply system, the service of electricity, recreation areas, streets and paths, they were built by the community, generating different social dynamics that give it an identity and historical weight that goes beyond exaggerated prejudices.
