It is divided two sections. In the first one, it approaches the existent relationship between the media and the school. Some considerations are made on the ways of assuming the media and the school. In the second, the tone is proposing and it exposes a series of recommendations as for the development of the reading snd the writing through the school newspaper. At once, appear aspects of practical order around the edition and to the publication of the means of comunication in the classroom.El artículo habla de las ventajas, que conlleva el trabajo por proyectos pedagógicos a tráves del periódico escolar, para el desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas. Se divide en dos apartados. En el primero, aborda la relación existente entre los medios de comunicación y la escuela. Se hace algunas consideraciones sobre las maneras de asumir los medios de comunicación y el concepto, más común, de periódico escolar. En el segundo, el tono es propositivo y expone una serie de recomendaciones en cuanto al desarrollo de la lectura y la escritura a través del periódico escolar.
