Para lograr esto se definieron indicadores y variables mediante una revisión bibliográfica en la última década. Posteriormente se describió el sistema de gestión turístico a partir de la relación entre 5 categorías de gestión y se establecieron 7 variables apropiadas para evaluar el desempeño administrativo del turismo en este contexto. Finalmente se convocó un foro de expertos para calificar dichas variables y los resultados se compilaron para su análisis, identificando que en la actualidad el desempeño turístico de la RFPCQ tiende a la sustentabilidad, pero no logra una coordinación efectiva entre las instituciones públicas y las comunidades residentes, siendo este un ámbito de mejora necesario para lograr un efectivo desarrollo sustentable en el territorio.This research evaluated the management of sustainable tourism in a context of nature protection as is the case of the Cerro Quininí Protected Forest Reserve (RFPCQ) in the department of Cundinamarca, Colombia. To achieve this, indicators and variables were defined through a bibliographic review of the last decade. Subsequently, the tourism management system was described based on the relationship between 5 management categories and 7 variables were established as appropriate to evaluate the administrative performance of tourism in this context.
