Para alcanzar este propósito fue necesario entender las dimensiones estructurales y significativas de las narrativas infantiles, que permitieran entender a su vez la transformación que han tenido los niños a través de sus experiencias. Los elementos teóricos considerados para esta investigación fueron los siguientes: infancia, escuela, lenguaje, relato, intersubjetividad y experiencia. A la luz de ese andamiaje epistemológico se procedió a la construcción de una metodología cualitativa con enfoque narrativo que facilitará el proceso de análisis. Finalmente, el resultado estuvo enmarcado en tres categorías esenciales: la afectividad como componente fundamental de la experiencia, la disciplina y la relación entre estudiantes y maestros y el reconocimiento como punto de partida para experiencias significativas.The main objective of this research work is to understand the school experiences of the boys and girls at the Restrepo Millán School based on the analysis of their stories. To achieve this purpose, it was necessary to understand the structural and significant dimensions of children's narratives, which would allow us to understand the transformation that children have had through their experiences. The theoretical elements considered for this research were the following: childhood, school, language, story, intersubjectivity and experience. In light of this epistemological scaffolding, a qualitative methodology with a narrative approach was built to facilitate the analysis process.
