Esta situación se acentúa en regiones apartadas que no hacen parte del sistema interconectado nacional (SIN), convirtiéndose la ausencia de suministro eléctrico en el principal obstáculo para la penetración de estas tecnologías.In the absence of an adequate infrastructure for pumping and water supply, the productivity of the agricultural sector is affected by climatic phenomena that have direct consequences such as the loss of crops and the death of animals. Additionally, the development rates of the region and the quality of life of the inhabitants of the region are diminished.
