Estas fórmulas se envían a los laboratorios ópticos, que se encargan de la elaboración de la lente en función de los requisitos establecidos en la fórmula y las medidas del tipo de marco seleccionado por el paciente en el que se realiza el montaje de las lentes. Hoy en día, el flujo de información entre estos actores es ineficiente, dado que esto se hace de forma manual y no mediante el uso de tecnologías de la información, lo que lleva a períodos de tiempo bastante largos en la entrega de los lentes a los pacientes. Teniendo en cuenta que los problemas de visión son un problema de salud específico y que afectan el desarrollo normal de las actividades diarias de las personas, es importante satisfacer esta necesidad en el menor tiempo posible. El siguiente trabajo realiza el estudio para el diseño de una aplicación web que ayuda a establecer una comunicación en tiempo real entre la óptica y el laboratorio en la colocación del pedido, con el fin de optimizar los tiempos de entrega de los lentes a los pacientes, haciendo el sector más eficiente.Currently one of the main actors in the coverage of the visual health needs of the population are optics, who provide the service of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and correction of visual defects through the formulation of lenses.
