Este periférico mide la distancia de la columna vertebral con un sensor de ultrasonido HC-SR04 y de la zona cervical, dorsal y lumbar del paciente, estos datos son guardados en una interfaz de usuario realizada en App Inventor 2 la cual almacena los datos obtenidos en una base de datos que guarda un historial de todas las mediciones que se realiza a cada paciente, este historial puede ser visualizado en la misma aplicación y si se desea puede ser enviado a través de correo electrónico al paciente y de esta manera llevar un progreso del tratamiento que se está realizando para corregir el problema.This article details the development of an application which can measure the deviation of the spine by using the orientation sensor of a smartphone to obtain the angle at the point where the measurement is taking place at that time and by mean of a peripheral which is communicated with a Bluetooth module HC-05 to an ultrasound sensor and the smartphone.
