A reflection about how this affects, mainly, the critic position towards the novel, is also part of its objective. The theme develops through three main axis: a)The "Yanguncismo" and the favour relation; b) The demoniacal pact; and c) Writing as a possession taking act or as falsification for the being. Finally, it goes back to the language event that enables Grande Sertáo: Veredas and to the way how the novel it problematizes the relation of language with man's being.Este artículo se cuestiona cómo el coeficiente "oral" del Gran Sertón: Veredas, sedimentado en la llamada crítica rosiana, desde su confrontación con la propia obra y desde su cruce con algunos enfoques de la filosofía y de la teoría literaria cantemporáneas, afecta, principalmente, el posicionamiento crítico ante la novela. La reflexión se desarrolla en tres ejes temáticos principales: el "Yaguncismo" y la relación "de favor"; el pacto demoniaco y la escritura como toma de posesión y como falsificación del ser.
